Nature. I am blessed to live in one of the most beautiful states, in my opinion. Tennessee. His beauty surrounds me. I stopped for a moment, on a family day trip to capture this "Moment in Time."

This "Moment in Time" was one of those moments of pure joy and imagination. I know, since I have an 18 year old daughter, these moments are fleeting, and gone in the blink of an eye. This was where I saw my Father's beauty today.

I found this "Moment in Time" in a Begonia that my Mammaw has hanging outside her house. I found it interesting that it appears two birds are using this nest. Two brown speckled eggs and four white with tiny blue dots on them occupy this nest. I can't wait to see them as babies. Stay tuned....this "Moment in Time" will have a follow up.

Spring --- the newness of Spring is such beauty to me. Here is a peek at a beginning of some of God's beauty! I found this when I was suppose to be cleaning out some of my Mammaw's flowerbeds. She was completely happy with me leaving them and the flowerbed alone...for this "Moment in Time."

A Moment In Time...

My picture today is simply a place that brings me peace, joy, and pure happiness. It's from my kitchen sink, my window view. My window sill, though the contents change often, they always reflect things that make me smile and refresh me on a rough day; and bring me joy and peace EVERY day!  It's where I pray for family and friends, wash dishes, begin preparation for meals for my family and others, and ultimately, the place I come to breathe from time to time. I KNOW He meets me here, and I am grateful!
May God, the source of hope, fill you with joy and peace through your faith in him. Then you will overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. - Romans 15:13 (God's Word)

A Moment in Time

My intention was to begin this on Friday, but life happened and I didn't get it prepared. So, this is the beginning of what I intend to be my weekly Friday post. It was birthed through much conversation and thought with my dear (real life) friend, Jennifer at Jen's Journey. My vision for it, was a picture (new or old) that captures some of God's amazing beauty; it may be a person, nature, whatever is beauty for that "Moment in Time." It was brought to life by this post, completely unbeknownst to me. Jen called and let me know I had named the "baby" of which we'd been speaking of. And so, here we are.....

Life is fleeting and passes us by so quickly, so my thought was by taking the time to seek out His wonders, we'd enjoy those moments with a bit more awareness. Please feel free to join up, just title it "A Moment in Time" and share your pictures, linking back here. So, here is my 1st official (though not my original, because something better happened Friday) "Moment in Time."

My BABY! He lost his first tooth on Friday, and it was followed almost IMMEDIATELY by his second. I cried and giggled, because this is a definite sign that my baby is growing up, yet he was so excited and determined that for losing 2 in a day, the Tooth Fairy would most definitely bring him a bonus.
